Rules for Premier superspeedway series

Welcome to all drivers! Please read the rules below and ask if you have any questions about the rules. We try to provide a fun and competitive sim racing experience and value every drivers opinions as we are a drivers based series.

  1. Start Time: Please be on time and ready to race. We will have the server open 1 hr (8PM EST) before start time. At 9pm est we will start the Qualifying session we alternate between regular qualifying and lotto qualifying. If you want to start in the back, declare that when we grid up and on pit road and safety fall to the back. We will clear any black flags on the start.
  2. ***** If you think your going to be late let someone know and have them tell an admin and we will start a 5 minute clock, at 9:05pm we will start the qualifying. You will get 1 pass on being late. After qualifying there will be a short drivers meeting during the 10 minute happy hour after the drivers meeting you can practice, use restroom, practice pit stops or just hang out.
  3. ***** If we need to do knock out qualifying we will lock in the top 25 in points. If we need to do knock out qualifying in the first 3 races will have the admin team, any asr tagged members and anyone that helps with this series either with tech support or painting of the cars step out of the game and we will run a qualifying session and determine who makes the field.
  4. SERIES RULES: No restarts once we grid up and start the pacing lap. Double file starts and restarts.  Leader gets choice of high or low.
  5. We do have a 2 incident and park it rule. If a driver who wrecks 2 times and brings out a yellow flag in the race and without a doubt is his or her fault, you will need to park.  Also if you cause an incident and bring out a yellow flag,  or you are not 100% sure you did not cause the incident, you must serve the penalty by
pitting the 2nd time by and take full service(4 tires and fuel) and DO NOT SPEED coming in or out of the pits please. If you are in fact deemed responsible for the incident after the post race review, and did not serve the penalty,  you will suffer a 1 lap penalty post race.
  6. If you have an incident with other driver and you are at fault and it DOES NOT bring out the caution you will need to drive down pit road and just do a pass thru within 3 laps. If the caution comes out in the 3 lap grace period, you will need to speed on pit road and get a EOLL penalty. If you serve under green flag condition you don’t need to stop and don’t speed, if you do then you will have a black flag on the on top of that you will need to serve.
  7. STARTS/RESTARTS: The race is started/restarted by the green flag. Do not jump the green. If found you did jump the green flag you will receive a -1 lap penalty, and an incident post race. The leader must pace at 68 to 72  mph. The leader also has his choice of high or low on restarts. He must make announcement on teamspeak before lights go out on pace car. When the lights go out on the pace car. Drivers must get into their position (f2 button will show the running  order). You need to maintain your lane and keep within .3 sec of the car in front of you. If a car is lagging back the driver behind them will advise them to move up. If they do not move up, let race admin know and it will be looked at post race. If they are found to be lagging back to far they will be warned the 1st time and could receive a -1 lap penalty post race if the problem continues. No talking on teamspeak once the leaders enter into tri oval.
  8. WARPING: If an admin ask you to go to the back due to serious warping you must do so as safely as possible. If not, Admins will park you. If you fall out or dropout during the race or before we take green flag we will give back a max of 5 laps until you reach -1 lap down. It is your responsibility to alert an admin that you are back on the track and tell the admin you would like your laps back. The admin will confirm with you on how many laps you are down and start the lap back process. If you are the lucky dog when a caution comes out you will get your lap back on next restart. The Admins will announce on Team speak which car/truck numbers are the lucky dogs and to pit the 2nd time by and take 4 tires and fill it up with gas.
  9. IF CAUTION COMES OUT: We RACE BACK until the leader takes the yellow flag. Once you have received the yellow flag hold your position. While racing back if you hit other car you could be charged with an incident or a reckless driving penalty post race. So race back under your own risk. The admins will review any penalties that occur while racing back.
  10. LUCKY DOGS AND WAVE AROUNDS: We will do 2 lucky dogs at each caution. As long as you were not the cause of the caution. Lucky dogs will be announced by race admin only. Pit 2nd time by and take full service (fuel and 4 tires) after your pit stop and you come back onto the track drive up to front of field and stay behind pace car. Once the lights go out on the pace car you will speed around and join the field in the back and the admins will clear your black flag on restart. We do have wave arounds. If you get caught behind the pace car and in front of the leaders. Alert the race admin you are a wave around car and would like to go to the tail end of the field. The admin will tell you when the lights go out on the pace car to drive around to the end of the field and he will clear your black flag on the restart.
  11. BLACK  FLAGS: Black flags will be cleared on the start and restarts. Just call out your number and say BLACK.  Other black flags may be granted but will be checked post race. Speeding penalties and entering and merging improperly when pitting cannot be cleared.
  12. BLOCKING: If your block causes a wreck you will be charged an incident. If you pull in front of a faster moving line and the speed difference is 5 mph or more and there is an incident, you will be charged, if it is on the last lap you will receive a 1 lap penalty during post race review. Here are some guidelines to help with understanding blocking: 1. You must be established in the line you are trying to block. If you make a 2nd movement in an attempt to block you will be charged with an incident, if there is a wreck or you damage the other cars/trucks involved. 2. Take into account your speed vs their speed. If you’re running 190 mph and they are running 200 mph chances are good that the block is going to end up in a wreck or damage. Blocking or defending your position is a risky decision that you need to weight before making it. Blocking/ defending your position is as much a part of racing as is steering wheels and checkered flags. It’s ok to use it just don’t abuse it
  13. PITTING: Annouce on teamspeak and/or with hot keys when pitting. DO NOT slow down on the track. Move below the yellow line then start braking there is plenty of room to get slowed down. Hot pitting is allowed but at YOUR OWN RISK! You could receive a reckless driving if you wreck some while hot pitting. When going down pit road, you should try and stay as far to the right as possible until you get close to your stall. Highly recommend using team speak and knowing who is pitting around you. Pit road incidents will be looked at during the review if you tell an admin to look at it. Try to give us a lap and the cars involved.
  14. TEAM SPEAK: Please race chat only during the race and keep it brief. There will be no negative comments towards any drivers or situations. If you make a mistake, kindly apologize. You may not think it means much, but in the long run,  it does. FAILURE to comply Team Speak behavior may result in a post race penalty and or immediate ejection from the race. We all get frustrated at times by drivers during the race. You may yell and swear all you want,  just don’t key the MIC. If you did have an issue with a driver, please get with an Admin after the race and let him know.
  15. CROWDING: If you crowd another lane and there is an incident, you will be deemed at fault. Crowding is defined by crossing into the other lane by more than 1/2 the car width. If you are in a 3 wide situation and the middle car is crowding the low lane and the outside car comes down and crowds the middle lane the outside car will be the one that gets charged with the incident.
  16. INCIDENT RULE: Incident is anything that brings out a yellow flag. You can receive a secondary incident for driving into a wreck or causing any type of damage or effecting another driver that doesn’t bring the caution out.
  17. It is the sole responsibility of the driver to read the incident report that is posted on the ASR facebook page every week. The admins will not reach out to you if you have a incident or a penalty. If you do not have a facebook account reach out to me and I will email you a copy.
